Interested in becoming a KOI Judge?
Our trainee programme is open to all current KJUKO Associate-Members with no koi-trade affilications and their own transport. *** Currently we are experiencing delays with the transition from BKKS to KJUKO where financial transactions are concerned, but don’t let that stop you applying right now. A work-around will be arranged.****
The Trainee programme consists of annual seminars and on-site training at koi shows throughout the country and eventually abroad. The seminars last a day and are in three parts, covering:-
Judging,
Show rules & terminology,
Classification & Identification a.k.a. Benching.
We then go through all the answers and discuss them with you – so they are learning exercises as well as a test to establish your current level of knowledge and potential.
Successful applicants will then become Trainees. For a further insight see JSC Training Programme in our Library section.
The 2026 JSC Trainee Induction Seminar takes place on March 1st.
